I’m Michelle; a Nebraska native, residing in Lincoln, mother of two, and eternal hard worker. After becoming a mother, I found myself feeling stuck and disconnected from my own identity. I was managing complex systems at work, but my personal life felt chaotic. Throughout my own journey, I gained insight into my patterns and emotions, which helped me rebuild my sense of self and improve my relationships.
That experience is why I do this work. I understand overwhelm from the inside. I know what it feels like to be drowning in details while your actual purpose gets buried.
For over 15 years, I’ve worked in nonprofit administration, grant management, legal services, and operations. I’ve managed complex systems, supported hundreds of clients, coordinated major events, and helped organizations create sustainable operations. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations from Doane University and have pursued ongoing professional development in leadership and systems thinking.
This combination gives me a unique perspective: I understand both the systems side and the human side. Most organizations don’t just need better systems—they need systems that work with how humans actually function, not against them. That’s what Iron Star offers.
